What the plans assume
Lawn plans assume a flat rectangular lawn, Schedule 40 PVC laterals, pressure-regulated 4 in spray heads with 15 ft nozzles or 4 in gear-drive rotors, and the flow and pressure you choose, measured at the house. Every zone uses no more than three quarters of that flow. Slopes, long runs to the lawn, and lower real pressure change the numbers: measure your water before you buy.
Your plan
A plan is for your own yard. You may not resell or share it. If something on your plan is wrong, write to us and we will fix it and send you the corrected plan.
Codes and safety
Call 811 before you trench. Most codes require a backflow preventer, and some require a licensed installer or a permit for the connection to the house water.
